Odin’s Wolves

$20.00

The All Father God Odin had 2 Wolf Companions named Geri and Freki: meaning “Greedy” and “Ravenous.”  They follow Odin wherever he goesWolf-Warriors, like Geri and Freki, were not mere animals but Mythical Beings: They completed Odin in ways Odin was lacking.

The Wolf is the traditional Spirit Guide of the Hunter, Warrior, and Magician. The Wolf represents a Dual Nature of Nurturing and Destruction. On one side, the Wolf is the living embodiment of fury, chaos, and brute wildness. In contrast, the symbol of the wolf also represents one of the most intelligent, loyal, and sociable of animals, living and hunting in a co-operative family based pack.

While the wildness of the wolf is its greatest strength, it is its’ intelligence that is a Wolfs’ best asset which will temper, balance, and direct its fierce nature into Positive Action.

Our design shows the wolf in its dual Nature in a Yin/Yang-like design surrounded by the Magical Runes of the Vikings.
