Egyptian Ram’s Head

$20.00

Many Egyptian Gods and Goddess were represented with a human torso and animal head. The animal head often symbolized the characteristics of that particular god. “Ra” had the head of a hawk, ensuring the gift of swift flight; Anubis was jackal headed; and Harsaphes was ram headed and linked to fertility and virility. Our “Ram’s Head” pendant is a beautiful reproduction of an historic museum piece found in a Nubian King’s tomb.

“The hair of my head belongs to the god Nu, My face is the solar disc of Ra, The strength of the goddess Hathor lives in my eyes, The soul of Up-Uaut resounds in my two ears.” Egyptian Book of the Dead
